Fraud & Phishing

Security notice: fraud, phishing and smishing prevention

Blue Sea Hotels would like to warn you about the risk of electronic fraud involving attempts to impersonate our company via email, text messages (SMS), WhatsApp or phone calls.

Blue Sea Hotels will never ask you by phone, SMS or email for:

· Your full bank card number, expiry date or security code (CVV).
· Your login credentials, passwords or one-time passwords (OTPs) sent by your bank.
· Sensitive personal information (identification number, user account passwords, etc.) through links received in unsolicited SMS messages or emails.

If you receive a communication claiming to be from Blue Sea Hotels requesting this type of information, do not reply, do not provide any details and do not click on any links it contains. It is likely to be an attempt at phishing, smishing or another form of identity fraud.

Recommendations:

· Always make sure that communications relating to your booking are made through the official Blue Sea Hotels channels listed on our website.
· Be wary of messages that create a sense of urgency, threaten the immediate cancellation of your booking or ask you to make a payment or verify information through external links.
· Carefully check the sender’s email address and the URL of any link before interacting with it. Fraud attempts often use addresses and domains that look very similar to the official ones but are not identical.
· If you have any doubts about the authenticity of a communication, contact Blue Sea Hotels directly through the official channels published on this website. Do not use the contact details provided in the suspicious message.

Blue Sea Hotels accepts no liability for any loss or damage resulting from personal or banking information being provided to third parties impersonating the company through identity fraud techniques.
