This kilometre-long beach of fine white sand and impressive crystal-clear waters, which has nothing to envy to the famous Es Trenc beach, is one of the main tourist centres in the municipality of Calvià. It is an area with a lot of atmosphere both during the day and at night. It offers all kinds of services for the visitor at a short distance from the beach: good restaurants, cocktail bars, a sea promenade, shopping centres, supermarkets, nightlife, water sports and much more.
Enjoy the musical event of the year, which is held between May and June. Located in the old Aquapark in Calvià, it brings together groups and soloists from the national and international music scene who offer the best shows for two full days. The BVAW Palmanova (Beach Volley Around the World) is a sports event that takes place in May and has more than 1000 participants from 35 different nations. Up to 100 volleyball fields host the tournament. The event offers complementary activities, music and, above all, entertainment on a spectacular beach.
The first weekend in May the annual Rugby tournament is held on Magaluf beach. Up to 70 teams from different European countries take part, a large number of them from England. If you are a rugby lover, you cannot miss this tournament.
